Many people have asked, "Why Palm Springs?" There are a few reasons. We're living in Chicago, it's February, and the high this week is going to be 45. A majority of friends and family live in Southern California. Since we would be coming in from out of town, it was important to us to spend as much time as possible with our guests.
The Viceroy was actually my first thought when we were brainstorming locations. My girlfriends and I stayed at The Viceroy a few years ago and I had one of the best weekends. It is a hip boutique hotel with a "...modern interpretation of the old Hollywood Regency." Halfway through the guest list we realized it was too quaint (small) for our group.
